Compensation calculation not working in Mass Update

Under Mass Update tab of Compensation planning, for Synchronize Defaults form, while adding a new employee, compensation is not getting calculated on save. Incremental synchronize defaults rule is attached on the form to be run on save, but while saving the details of newly added employee, no rule is running.

Moreover, while trying to calculate compensation for employees added in mass update, through employee details tab, it is also not working.

Attached oracle doc was referred to while testing.
