project driven supply chain - Capture Manufacturing Work Order Costs in Projects

Summary:

We are planning to use the project driven supply chain feature for current project to capture the manufacturing cost on the project.

The current business process is that they track the budget v/s actual for all the material(Item) category level which is expenditure type in project.

But when we import the cost to project for work order the expenditure type gets defaulted based on the default expenditure type for the resource transactions on manage default expenditure type.

Hence the cost gets grouped on the work order level and imported to project. Here this is causing the issue to have budget v/s actual reporting issue. Does any faced the similar issue and any work around available.
