IAM Security groups/Application security groups

Is there a way to avoid the manual process of setting up security groups for each application (PBC/FCC) in Menu->Tools->Access Control? For instance, can the security groups be shared via IAM at the application level?

Consider this scenario: both PBC and FCC applications require the same group of users in a security group. Setting up the same security groups for each application and adding the same users can be time-consuming and prone to error for the repetitive manual task process. Instead, we could set up the security groups with the users in IAM and make them visible in both applications, thereby simplifying the process of setting up security groups across applications.
