Can we Carry forward unused project forecast amounts from past periods to only the next period

Oracle project forecast presently offers a feature to carry forward unused forecast amounts of prior periods to the remaining periods of the project. This reallocation is done based on the spread used in project budget ex Evenly/Prorated etc.

We have a requirement, where business wants to carry forward unused forecast amounts of prior periods to only the next period. Ex. If current planning period is November 2023 and if a new forecast version is generated then unused amount until Nov-23 should get reallocated to only Dec-23 period. Similarly when Dec-23 actuals are captured, unused amount until Dec-23 needs to be reallocated to only Jan-24 and not remaining periods of the project.
