Project Portfolio Management to EPBCS OOTB integration

Hi, We have enabled and configured the Project Management Integration between EPBCS and PPM. While going through the Integration considerations from Oracle documents, it mention that this integration only supports 12 month period. In our PPM application, it is currently designed with a 13 month period while our EPBCS application is configured with a 12 month period setup.

Oracle documents does mention that it supports only 12 month period setup for this integration but does not mention about the 13 month period. Would this be a reason to proceed with creation of custom integrations to meet the requirements of pulling Project data from PPM, or any recommendations would be appreciated.
