Transfer order for different item codes assigned to Two Business Units, is it possible?

Summary:

Business Requirement is : - The same product defined as Item Code-A for Business Unit-1, is different for Business Unit 2 with Item code-B.

Can we perform Transfer Orders for this case, if not then what could be possible workarounds for this ?
