I have project with cost only budget. In this budget, there is a resource (Other Misc. Expense) under a task. This task is from 17/12 - 15/1 and the resource is allocated $100,000 budget in total. Budget is splitted into 44,852.94 in Dec 2023 and 55,147.06 in Jan 2024. My budget control level for Cost only Budget financial type is "Absolute" However, when I validate an $45000 invoice for budget date 18 Dec with this task and resource tagged, the invoice does not have fund check fail.

The budget does tell us Dec 2023 budget is not enough. However, since the top resources budget is sufficient, the fund check can still pass.
