Update Party Site number in the Supplier Address through SOAP Service and its downstream impact

We have a requirement to update the party site number as it is provided by client from a spoke system. As the address number cannot be updated through front end or FBDI, we are planning to update the party site number with the value provided by the client through SOAP Service. We would like to get confirmation whether there are any downstream impact if a party site number is changed/updated from the original auto generated one?
