Auto provision role removed from the users

Hi Team,

We recently performed below changes to end the Autoprovision role

1) Override the autoprovison role using HDL to set Autoprovision role to "No" from Security Console on 11/30/2023

2) Added End date to Autoprovision role with effective 11/30/2023

3) Ran "Autoprovision Roles for All Users" process and still Autoprovision role was visible in users profile

After above steps next morning we found role was removed automatically from all the users

Any suggestions on why the role might have been removed?
