Planning Artifact Reports - Automation

As part of our internal IT controls, we're required to monitor any changes made to specific rules files in calc mgr. The artifact report from the migration menu is great for this, as it shows the last modified date and person who modified it. However, is it possible to automate the production of this artifact report? I've done some googling and cannot find any EPM Automate commands in relation to this.
