Any Possibility of negative impact on functional updates by Sandbox Changes

Hello.

We would like to know that by implementing personalization settings in sandbox such as unique pop-up displays and label changes, won't the relevant functionality be excluded from the update?

For example, let's say that we are implementing pop-ups and label changes for items on the billing screen. We are concerned that when there is an update to the billing screen in the future, this implementations will interfere with the functionality updates.

We assume that the screens and functions are managed separately, but we would like to know if there is any chance of such a situation.
