Invoke pricing engine if any changes in the line grid attribute Values

Summary:

In one of our project we are implementing Pricing Engine.. I noticed that whenever i change any line grid values manually and click on save then pricing engine is invoked.

But when any of the line grid attribute values changed automatically by system based on the some logic, then that time pricing engine is not invoking after click on Save..

Can anyone please explain the reason.
