OTBI folder permission segregation

Hello,

I am working for a client that has multiple subsidiaries ( in UK, IN France, in USA etc) and all of these subsidiaries have distinct folders with distinct OTBI reports in Custom folder from Shared Folders. They want to control the access to these folders according to the subsidiary that one user has access (e.g. an UK user should not see the reports from the US folder either by having an error message when trying to access the US folder or to simply not see the content of the US folder after he has clicked on it).

I came up with the following solution:
