Add Attachments in Asset Retirement Transaction

No attachment field can be found in retire assets page. We have tried to attach files in retirement approval process, uploading by reviewer/approver. But the attachments can only be found in Worklist other than Asset details or transactions. We prefer not to use Update Descriptive Details to do so. Is there any other way to attach retirement related documents that can be found when inquiring asset? (both single and mass retirement)
