What is the impact of deleting item subinventory mapping?

Hi Team,

We have a business use case where item sub-inventory mapping need to be end dated but unfortunately end date option is not available. When we are trying to delete the mapping, we are getting warning error message as "INV-2416406This action deletes the item sub-inventory relationship for the item 401119, for which an on-hand quantity exists. Do you want to continue?". Before we proceed further on deletion of this mapping, we would like to understand the impact of deleting the same.
