Description (Required):

When upload a file through a VBCS application frontend to be saved either in a backend server, file service, database or business object, there should be an inbuild virus scanner.

Use Case and Business Need (Required):

We are uploading files in a custom VBCS application that is storing the files in ATP tables. These can be downloaded by other users who are able to navigate to the page which shows the existing uploaded files. If a virus is uploaded as an attachment, then it can potentially be downloaded by other users and that would infect their system and potentially the network.
