Descriptive flexfield with automatic numbering to Interorganization Transfers

The business needs automatic numbering to be generated, but this numbering to be controlled by the user, similar to how sequences documents work, where the user can decide the initial value and when to end it to generate a new sequence.

Requires it for transfers between organizations, at the header.

Is there a way to create a DFF with a sequential value set so that the starting number can be decided?
