Store daily level data in one cube and post monthly aggregated data to another

I have a planning app set up with 2 cubes and the standard 12-month period settings. I'd like be able to store and report daily level data in one of the cubes and be able to post the monthly aggregate to the other cube. Here's the challenge, day 1 of month 1 may not always begin on 1st Jan. It could be 25th Dec of last year. So we need some sort of a table to map the days to the correct Financial Year and Period in the monthly level cube. Keen to learn if
