Does Channel Agent users have access to export functionality

We have setup auto forwarding rules for the steps for Channel Agent type users. When the user logins with user type Channel Agent and tried to search the records with some criteria in search window the export process action is not getting the number of records returned correctly.

Please suggest some solution if someone has faced the similar issue.
