Getting check-in and check-out timestamps for OBload

We're using obload's trailer number to manage which truck will have this load. In order to manage the actual gate check-in and check-out processes we need a separate process than just typing the trailer number on obload. how can we manage this operation to get the truck check-in & out timestamps?
