Why it is required to run translation after force consolidation?

In case of one of our client, data till Dec-23 was translated and consolidated. Then to resolve a issue, we ran force consolidation for Dec-21, Dec-22, Dec-23. However, when we try to run Translation Job for Mar-24 It throws the below error, although no change to data of Dec-23 was made and it was translated before running the force consolidation. Also , why the below error came only for Dec-23 and not any prior period?
