Workaround for Department of Education issue of Missing SAI on Non-Rejected ISIRs

The Department of Education has an existing known issue where non-rejected ISIRs are submitted to schools with a blank SAI value. As a result of the corrupted ISIR data, please take the following actions to ensure that your students are not incorrectly awarded Unsubsidized and PLUS loan funding.

Please note we do intent to enhance the system to support setting all Title IV funding to ineligible when ISIRs are received with Blank SAI values.

In the meantime, a configuration update can be used to workaround Title IV packaging.

Attached is a snippet that you can place into the Unsub & PLUS award overriding scripts (at the top of the script is preferred, directly after any package & import statements). Effectively, this sets the fund’s award amount to 0 if the SAI is blank.
