Creating Forecast from another source

Hi,

We have a client who is trying to create forecast for a project from another source.

They tried different options so far none of which made sense to them.

= Examples =

Original Forecast

Expectation is to be able to see both Actuals and ETC. Value of the ETC is what it was in the version copied from (Mar -24)

Scenerio 1 - 'Copy from Another Source', it will not carry across Actuals, so it is not good for them. (they have used this and entered actuals manually.)

Scenario 2 - 'Generate from another source' (Current Planning Period = Apr-24)

2.1 - Plan to complete (Actual amounts through period = current period)
