Reassign assets to a new CGU

Summary:

Considering Oracle Support and Development have confirmed that adding new assets /removing assets from a CGU in a future period is not possible (as these are considered backdated impairments), I want to test a scenario where I reassign old assets to a new CGU in period N+1 whereas the Impairment of these assets took place in period N.

We have a requirement to revise/update/reverse Impairments 1x year.

I was able to reassign a goodwill asset (Depreciate Flag = Y, STL_0) which I had fully impaired in Jan-24 to a CGU I created in Apr-24 (current assets period) and see that a new adjustment line has been created with an amortization start date of the current assets period and Amortize column with a value Yes…but the same adjustment is failing with other assets which were also impaired in a previous period but which do depreciate.
