How to utilize Receipt Line API fields (lotSerialItemLots, serialItemSerials, lotItemLots)

For the Create Receipt Lines API: /fscmRestApi/resources/11.13.18.05/receivingReceiptRequests/{HeaderInterfaceId}/child/lines

We have a requirement to receive serial numbers in the same method as done in the UI on a receipt. What is the best way to utilize these fields fields on the Request:

• lotSerialItemLots - The Lots That Share Control resource manages details about the lot when the lot and the serial controls the item.
• serialItemSerials - The Serial Item Serials resource manages details about the serial when the serial controls the item.
• lotItemLots - The Lots That Control Items resource manages details about the lot when the lot controls the item.
