Budgetary Control Analysis Report (BCAR) amounts not matching with Project Costs

Hi,

We have a business requirement to create an obligations report to show the Budgetary Control Analysis Report (BCAR) obligation amounts and obligations from Project Costs.

We developed a custom report and found that obligation amounts between BCAR report and the obligation amounts shown in Manage Commitment Costs under Projects module are not matching. Upon further analyzing we noticed that BCAR report is showing the PO amounts as obligations even if its closed but the same amounts are not shown under Manage Commitment Costs in projects because this page is displaying all purchase orders in OPEN status only and excluding any PO in Closed/Finally Closed status.
