Only actual buyer should appear in dropdown in Manage Purchase Order screen

Hi Folks

We have a requirement as below -

In Manage Purchase Order screen, there is filter parameter of buyer. In these LOVs the requirement is that only person who is actually a buyer having relevant buyer roles should appear. However all the employees which are setup are as procurement agents are appearing in the dropdown. These persons in LOVs are just requesters and not buyers but they are setup as procurement agents.

Can you pls suggest if we can restrict the filter LOVs to only the actual buyers, or is there a workaround for this
