Plan run required to populate msc_item_sourcing table

Summary:

We are using msc_item_sourcing table to derive certain columns in a BIP report which is being run everyday, and we observed that the backend data is not is sync with the frontend for this table.
We need to run the Plan program/ Demand and Supply plan run to sync the data every time there is an create or update on the Sourcing rule.

Could someone please confirm if we this is the only way we need to sync msc_item_sourcing table with frontend data? As its not feasible to run the plan daily.
