MHE VLM System

We’re planning to install Modula vertical lift module (VLM) equipment this year and I’m beginning research on the required configuration. I believe the VLM equipment is functionally similar to carousels, just stored in a different direction. I have reviewed the WMS MHE documentation but I’m unclear on some aspects. The VLM system will manage all the picks within the VLM system itself so we will use wave pick info output from the wave template.

  • What is the reason for the item “conveyable” flag? Is this used just for conveyor systems?
  • What does it mean to “induct” LPN’s into MHE? Is this also for conveyor systems?
