Is there any way to record discount on Revenue Leases and amortize it over the lease term

Summary:

Our customer has few scenarios where they will issue a credit note for concession given which gets adjusted againt lease contract amount and revenue is recognized prospectively on reduced amount. However, they have few other scenarios where they receive an amount less than Billed amount and they don't want to issue a credit note but account it as a discount. This discount they want to be amortized over the lease term. Is there any solution to meet this requirement.
