What is the Impact for Business if we delete the current Geographies and import new Geographies

Currently in the system Geographies were created manually. Business want to delete the current Geographies in the system and then they need to import the Geographies.

Need to understand the below:-

1. What is the impact for current business process if delete the Manual Created Geographies and import the new Geographies.
2. If yes, what kind of impact will be there.
