Using E-business suite tax engine as external tax party in Oracle Cloud ERP
Summary:
Have a customer which is using E-business suite for financial processes with an extensive implementation of the Tax engine, i.e. including an important amount of tax rules.
We have a project running on Oracle ERP & SCM Cloud to cover a part of their supply chain processes and related procurement, payables and receivables. E-business suite will however remain the master for financial processing and integrations will be build between Oracle Cloud ERP and E-business suite.
For obvious reasons, customer wants to avoid to maintain the extensive set of tax rules in 2 systems and is questioning if there is a way to use the E-business suite tax engine as external tax party in Oracle Cloud ERP. Does anyone have experience with this? Could this be a viable solution?
