Impact of sale of property on Land

Summary:

When we had moved land into Oracle for a client, we used a beginning balance and listed some land individually, so the total is correct. But not all of the land owned by the client is listed individually and this we feel could cause a problem in the future if sale of property happens. What is the best way to correct this?
