What Process Populates the Projects Essbase Cube?

What process should be run to initially populate the essbase cube and/or keep it updated and what parameters should be used?

We only recently have tried to create SmartView reports using the Projects essbase cube. I am only finding values sporatically in the resulting SmartView reports I have created leading me to believe our cube isn't fully populated.

I have found another posting (linked below) that really seems like it would be the answers to my question except when I look at Andy May-Coates' response/link, that link didn't give enough information as to what process to actually run and what parameters to use.
