Updating IAR due to multiple ATP nodes affected by alphanumeric switch

Summary:

We are currently in the progress of an OIC Gen3 upgrade and essentially all of our integrations are affected by the instance ID switch from numeric to alphanumeric. Consequently, we have needed to change the PL/SQL procedure parameters in our ATP database to be switched from NUMBER to VARCHAR2.

We noticed that after compiling the latest updates to our PL/SQL procedures, we are required to go into each node of the integration that calls the procedure, select "Continue" → "Continue" → "Finish" for it to update the datatype of the input parameter. This process has been extremely tedious and are looking for ways to expedite these OIC changes. Without this tedious step, running the integration will result in the integration to fail with a fault message of
