24/25 ISIR Corrections

On July 30th, 2024 the Department of Education sent out an Electronic Announcement informing schools that batch corrections will be deferred until the 25/26 Award Year.   This understandably has implications for ISIR processing within SFP.

Below is an outline on steps you can take to mitigate any serious delays:

DOE File Management

  • Do not enable corr25in files for 2024-2025
    • This will ensure that any system generated corrections will remain in SFP and an outbound file will not sent to the Department of Education.

Corrected ISIRs

  • Depending on your current configuration there may be ISIRs in a "Corrected" status that will never transmit the correction to the Department. In these instances you may need to reach out to the student and inform them of the correction they need to make, or make the correction on FAFSA Partner Portal (FPP) on their behalf. We have a product report already created that will help you find these students, the "Delayed ISIR Processing Report (24-25 through current)".
