Amount incurred was diff in OTBI & Projects

When reviewing the incurred costs on Project, in application (Manage Project costs) with search parameters as Exp Project BU, Project name, Accounting period am seeing the diff amount when compared to OTBI with same search parameters (Project BU, Project and Accounting Period).
This is because of missing intercompany transactions in app, when OTBI was giving me the transactions (intercompany included) with the Project BU parameter, can I expect the same behavior in app
