How can we Modify/Renew a child Item Asset under Root Asset

Summary:

Hello Team,
we have a requirement, where we have 2 level hierarchy asset structure.
eg. :
RootItem Asset
- RootChild Asset
1. Child Asset1
2. Child Asset2
Here we are trying to do Modify/Renew on RootChild Asset. So on click of Renew on RootChild Asset the RootChild Asset along with its child assets should be populated on the transaction.
Anyone worked on similar kind of requirement?
