Custom General Accounting Manager Role cannot remove Functional setup access

Summary:

A user has access to the "General Accounting Manager" Role

When they have access to this Role, I notice that they get 2 things (amongst lots of others):

1. Access to Setup and Maintenance
2. Access from Setup and Maintenance > Tasks > Search to
   lots of stuff related to Chart of Accounts tasks such as Define Chart of
   Accounts > Manage Chart of Accounts etc (

I'd like to :

1. Iremove access to Setup and Maintenance - and if so - how?

I can remove the functional setup against the new role only for the Functional Setup related to the new role name as per picture 1 but cannot remove the other Setup functions on the role. As such the user would still be able to see setup and mainteance from their access and in some instances be able to access certain forms and hence functions.
