What is the difference between locked and closed a scheduled task?

Hello everyone,

I am trying to understand what is the difference between locked and closed a task which is scheduled.

When I go to "Task Management" and choose Closed —> User can still open the task and input data.

When I go to "Task Management" and choose Locked—> User can still open the task and input data.

I don't know what exact purpose of these feature in Task Management when they cannot prevent user from inputting data in task.

As Oracle document reference: "

  • Closed: When work on the schedule has reached a stage when the schedule is no longer active, and follow-up work is all that is required, you set the status to Closed. You cannot add new tasks to a Closed schedule. However, users can continue to work on tasks that are not complete.

Howdy, Stranger!
