Make to Order Work Orders

Summary:

Dear Team,

We are exploring the standard sales Order interface to create a Make to Order (MTO) Work Order in WMS by enabling the Work Order Type flag on sale Odrer Type screen and have following issues. Request you to advis eteh best way to proceed without any customization.

  1. The standard Sale Order interface creates one order in WMS CLoud per sale order shipment line. For a KIT item, standard SO interface is splitting BOM and creating orders in WMS for each component.
  2. As a result we have multiple SO's in WMS with different WMS Order #, Sale Order #
  3. As per standard functionality, system tries to tag one SO against the MTO order.
