How the Earliest Start Date and Latest Start dates are calculated for Supplier Capacity Constraint

edited Oct 1, 2024 1:27PM in Supply Chain Planning and Collaboration 2 comments

Summary:

We are implementing Supplier Capacity Constraint for the constrained Plan. We have noticed that Earliest Start Date and Latest Start dates are introduced as part of 24 C. We are unable to understand the algorithm on how Planning is calculating these dates(Earliest Start Date and Latest Start dates) based upon the demand date loaded which is nothing but Suggested Due date and Processing Lead time.

Sometimes these dates are beyond the need by date/Suggested Due dates. Sometimes Earliest Start Date and Latest Start dates are same but under the Suggested Dock/Due date.

I raised SR also but We are unable to get the clear understanding on how Planning is calculating these dates.

Howdy, Stranger!
