Smartview Extension for Enterprise Journals - Findings and Limitations

Summary:

Hello,

Although I am aware of and have used EJ primarily for the write-back of EPM to ERP GL Cloud, we are using it to push late adjustments from FCCS to Planning.

Having tested several use cases in FCCS with ad-hoc journals, we are also testing the SV excel add-in for EJ.

So far, some of my findings and limitations:

  1. When you force close, approval status goes to overridden and you cannot reset the status to submit, approve or reject as the journal is no longer open with the preparer.
  2. When you force close, the journal id disappears from the worklist
