ASO Custom Calculation vs. Graphical Editor Difference

Hi folks,

I'm working in a custom EPM Planning app and trying to create an ASO business rule to calculate a percentage of total headcount.

I can use the graphical designer and get the result I would expect, inputting all my cross-dims into a formula object:

Hitting execute does exactly what I would expect.

However, if I Save As, convert to a script, and hit execute immediately (without changing a single thing), the calc generates #missing instead of the expected result.

I'm curious if anyone has found limitations/breaking points with the script editor that would explain this? I have tried scouring the web for tech refs/blogs/etc and the closest I found was
