What is the best way to set up a course shell that I don't want to show in the self service catalog?

Summary:

We use course shells to track adhoc Safety training that have renewals. There are no offerings attached to these shells. Right now we can see them in the self-service catalog. I want to hide them so that users don't accidentally enroll int them. Is it best to just unpublish these shells, or should I go into Manage Default Access and change the Self service settings - view mode to "No Access"?

I am not sure which way to go? Does it matter? It is faster (Less clicks) to just unpublish but I don't want to do that, if it will impact anything down the road.

Howdy, Stranger!
