How to update an existing integration using Project deployment in OIC 3.0

Summary:

Hello,

I am using Project in OIC 3.0. I tried to update an existing integration in OIC target environment using project deployment. Here are the steps that I followed:

  1. Create Deployment project in source environment with the specific integration selected.
  2. Exported the deployment file.
  3. Imported the deployment .car file in target environment.
  4. Activated the deployment project.

Problem is that changes are not reflecting after following the above steps. Then I deleted the service in target environment and then imported the deployment file. It then reflected the changes.

Is it the expected behavior with project deployment? Do we need to delete the existing service first or I am missing something?
