Item attribute - "consider in clear-to-build" - How to prevent it from getting overwritten

Summary:

We understand that this item attribute (consider in clear-to-build) is not available in PIM or even in the item FBDI. How do you prevent it from getting overwritten every time we refresh /upload data in Target mode. we cannot afford to have to update thousands of item records .

OR Does this special attribute never gets affected??

Adding it in Simulation sets is a problem too, since the items data might become stale, if there constant changes in the attributes or new items etc.

Having it as an attribute in FBDI could be useful, although not ideal
