What is the Difference between AGG and @idescendants

Hello everyone,

I saw in many codes someone uses @idescendants, and someone uses AGG.

Both will give the same result.

As I read the Oracle doc, I really dont know the exact purpose of these functions.

So my question is:

  1. What is the difference between AGG and @idescendants
  2. The usage of the function in certain cases.
