How to make vertical grid lines that separate the workbench columns visible for every user?

Our users like the vertical grid lines on workbenches and they make the workbench more spreadsheet-like (friendly). But it seems we can only set that vertical grid line visible at each user level. Is there a way to set it visible for ALL users using this workbench?
