How to Consider expiration date in supply planning for a item, if the item is not lot controlled

Summary:

we have an item which is not lot controlled, however, once it is received from supplier, it can be suggested as supply by supply planning upto a max of 10 days from the date is it received, since we dont have Lot control enabled, we don't have option to add Expiration date, is there a way it can be identified ( in supply planning workbench) that supply pegged to the demand is received more than 10 days back, and notify the planner it is about to be expired.
